Now that summer is in full swing, my little backyard garden is starting to thrive.
It truly is my happy place. The place where yummy meals will come from
where old bottles have found a new life with 2 important jobs: warming the soil beneath peppers and tomatoes, and making me smile (remember, I have that thing about glass).
It's a place where food and flowers play nicely together.
A place where rust is celebrated as bling
and volunteers are more than welcome
and things are allowed to just sort of happen.
No need to look any further for my own heart's desire.
