First Day Home from NY

...and all is well.
The show was fabulous for me but oh my, I was glad to be home and have that part of my year behind me.  The first day back home again was, wow ... probably in the running for my favorite day of the year so far.  Most of it spent right here, starting what follow-up work I could accomplish on my lap, but mostly just petting furry animals and watching the grass grow (and grow, and grow...).
I did, however, forget that day what sun actually does and ended up with a strange little sunburn, only on one leg + the other ankle.  I was just so beside myself with warmth and fresh air, it had been so long since I enjoyed either.

Although the clouds rolled back in and I have been more than busy here inside, I have since pulled the dusty old bottle of sunblock out of storage for next time. 

Here's to a summer that requires lots of sunscreen...
