Tomato with a face, that is.
I had wondered in the last month or so if this would be the year - the year there was no face in the garden. A little upsetting, I must admit. But today while wrapping the last few green ones plucked from the icy grips (alright maybe not quite icy yet but wet and miserable for a tomato) of November's rain and hail storms to ripen inside, I finally found him. Quite adorable, I must say. Tomatoes can have the cutest faces.
So now I feel complete somehow; satisfied with the harvest ... and I will be savoring these last few juicy tidbits as they ripen, before cardboard-tomato-season begins again (sigh).

What? No fried GREEN tomatoes on your menu? ;-)
